Greetings, Colleton County Middle School Families.
The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with school-level leaders, investigated a written threat that was scratched on a railing in a restroom area at Colleton County Middle School. The Colleton County Sheriff's Office investigated the incident and there is no evidence that supports this being a legitimate threat. However, out of an abundance of caution, we have requested increased police presence and will have additional security measures in place at Colleton County Middle School on October 22, 2024 and October 23, 2024. The safety and security of students and staff are our top priorities.
Thank you for your continued support.
