The 2024 Leadership Retreat featured a presentation from the CCSD Human Resource Department.

Day 2 of the 2024 Leadership Retreat started with a warm “Welcome” from Superintendent Jessica Williams. Then Stu Greenberg from Curriculum Associates presented to principals on principal effectiveness and the correlation to improved data. It was a very productive morning.
Mr. L. Williams has been hard at work @ TCTC getting ready for the 2024-2025 school year! School may be out but our teachers are hard at work.

Thank you to Walterboro Elks Lodge #1988 Bingo for donating 168 cases of water to the Colleton County High School Band of Blue!! It will be put to great use as the band begins to prepare for the 2024 marching season!

Colleton County School District's School Leadership Teams continue to learn & grow at the 2024 Model Schools Conference this week. We can't wait for them to return and share some of the wonderful, exciting things they experienced & learned while at the conference.
Great things happened during Week 3 of our Elementary Summer Learning Program, F.I.T. 2.0 at Forest Hills Elementary. Intensive reading instruction, small group instruction, and many other fun activities were completed during this week.
Often times in life we forget to acknowledge the small things in life and I (Margaret Bright) really wanted to take a minute and acknowledge a co-worker that goes above and beyond to keep FHE clean and smelling amazing. Ms. Violet and the entire custodial staff are amazing and always make sure our classrooms are clean and smelling amazing. It may be just her "job" but I really appreciate the effort and hardwork she puts in doing her job to the best of her abilities without complaining or a frown. She is kind and has a great spirit and I am honored to have worked with her during summer school. I really wanted to take a minute and let you know that we have a lot of staff who are amazing and go the extra mile for our students.

Join Colleton County School District, University of SC-Salkehatchie, & the Original Six Foundation for a morning of food, fun, music, & STEM Activities.
