I learned some great strategies to bring back to my classroom that help me teach content, integrate the arts and help my multilingual learners make connections! Congratulations to this week's “Tell Me Something Good” drawing winner Ms. Arra Aquino from Colleton County High School.
Ms. Aquino shared, "I want to share how the "No Tech Tuesday" is working in my English class. Last Tuesday, students actively engaged with a poem by reading and annotating it using their books. It's refreshing to see a class where no one is using their Chromebooks and everyone is focused on the lesson."
Congratulations to Ms. Aquino and keep up the great work!

Congratulations to this week's “Tell Me Something Good” drawing winner Jennifer Tayaban of Hendersonville Elementary School.
Ms. Tayaban shared, "Starting to see my classroom become MY classroom here in HES Honey Bee Land! 🐝 In just a few weeks, routines are settling in, learning is unfolding, and meaningful relationships with my students are growing. 💛 Sometimes, the best moments are the little ones, a child finally understanding a concept, a student choosing to keep trying, or a class following routines independently. Those little moments remind me that the work is worth it. "

Did you know that as many as one in three students in the country misses 10%, or about 18 days, of the school year? This September, join with us to celebrate the Attendance Awareness Campaign. We’re working together to make sure all kids show up and participate every day possible. Being in school supports students’ social, emotional and physical well-being, and provides students with opportunities to learn and reach for their dreams. Let’s show up together and get back into the habit of daily attendance!
