The South Carolina School Board Association Convention was held February 19–22, 2026, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. During the conference, Colleton County School District Superintendent Jessica F. Williams and members of the district’s leadership team delivered a presentation entitled “Road to Success: Our Journey Toward Achievement in Colleton County.”
The presenting team included Dr. Cordelia Jenkins, Interim Assistant Superintendent of Academics and Student Services; Mrs. Janis Headden, Director of K–12 Teaching and Learning; and Mrs. Brandi Boseman, Director of Federal Programs.
The presentation highlighted the district’s strategic efforts to strengthen academic performance and enhance student support. It outlined key initiatives focused on improving instructional quality, expanding learning opportunities, and fostering meaningful community engagement. Additionally, the team emphasized the importance of data-driven, decision-making, and collaborative leadership as critical components of sustained success.
Overall, the presentation showcased the Colleton County School District’s continued commitment to creating a high-achieving, student-centered educational environment.
