Colleton County School District is currently exploring a potential restructuring of elementary school grade levels.

To ensure transparecy and open communication, Superintendent Jessica Williams, along with members of the District Leadership Team, held Town Hall meetings at teach elementary school to share information about the proposal to restructure elementary schools to include sixth grade.

For those who were unable to attend a town hall meeting, or for anyone interested in learning more about this proposal, we invite you to view the informational video linked below.

Please note that this is a proposal only, and no final decisions have been made. The School Board will receive feedback at the February 17, 2026 regular board meeting, including input gathered during the Town Hall meetings and survey results for informed decisions moving forward.

The District appreciates the continued support and engagement of our school community as we work together to support student success.
