Colleton County School District has announced the hiring of Bradley Adams as its new Head Football Coach.
Coach Adams brings more than 22 years of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels, including successful head coaching tenures at Georgetown (winningest Coach in program history), Woodruff, and Union County high schools. A proven program builder, Adams has led multiple teams to playoff appearances (13 out of 15 years as a Head Coach) and region championships, compiling over 80 career wins as a Head Coach while revitalizing programs across South Carolina. During his time at Union, he took over a 2-9 team and won back-to-back region championships before accepting the job at Woodruff High School.
Currently serving as Athletic Director at Beaufort High School, Adams is known for his leadership, commitment to student-athlete development, and emphasis on academics, character, and accountability. His coaching philosophy for Colleton County High School will be centered on the PAW Standard—Preparation, Accountability, and Work Ethic—with a strong focus on building meaningful relationships and lifelong skills.
Colleton County Department of Athletics looks forward to Coach Adams’ leadership as he works to build the Cougar football program and positively impact students both on and off the field.
