
The 2024 Leadership Retreat featured a presentation from the CCSD Human Resource Department.



Day 2 of the 2024 Leadership Retreat started with a warm “Welcome” from Superintendent Jessica Williams. Then Stu Greenberg from Curriculum Associates presented to principals on principal effectiveness and the correlation to improved data. It was a very productive morning.






Kimberly Mack, from The SC Dept. of Education’s Office of School Transformation, presented @ the 2024 Colleton County School District’s Leadership Retreat.


Today Colleton County School District leaders are meeting @ Dogwood Hills for the 2024-2025 Leadership Retreat. This is an opportunity for our school leadership teams to receive valuable information for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

Great things happened during Week 3 of our Elementary Summer Learning Program, F.I.T. 2.0 at Forest Hills Elementary. Intensive reading instruction, small group instruction, and many other fun activities were completed during this week.









Mark your calendars. Saturday, August 3, 2024, the "All In for Colleton" Back to School Bash will be held @ Colleton County High School (CCHS). Join Colleton County School District, University of SC-Salkehatchie, & the Original Six Foundation for a morning of food, fun, music, & STEM Activities. Children must be present to receive school supplies. We hope to see you there.



This week our school leadership teams are attending the Model Schools Conference to gain more knowledge in best practices, building community & capacity, hands on learning, reimagining & reinventing their schools & classrooms. We can't wait for the participants to return to their schools and implement what they learned.

After a lunch break today, Edward Jones & Dr. Dandi Daniels presented an 8 minute session called “Put me in Coach: From Subs(titutes) to Hall of Famers.” They did an awesome job!!



Today, Tracy McDonald & Stu Greenberg of iReady presented @ SCASA i3 Conference this morning. They presented Colleton County School District’s Principal Academy & its successes. Great job, Mrs. McDonald.








The Colleton County Leadership Team is @ SCASA i3 Conference in Myrtle Beach! The focus this year is “authentic leadership”. Stay turned for more updates!!


Week 2 of the CCSD F.I.T. 2.0 Elementary Summer Learning Program featured a trip tp Bee City. Everyone had a blast feeding the alpacas, llamas, goats, & even the giraffe. Stay tuned to see what happens during Week 3 of the SLP !!!








The CCSD F.I.T. 2.0 Summer Learning Program has been working hard and having fun. Week 1 was a huge success!!
