Student Registration

Colleton County School District serves students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. This page provides information about the process to register a student in our district. STEP 1 - FIND YOUR SCHOOL

  • All students in grades PK - 5 attend schools based upon their 911 issued residence address.

  • All students in grades 6 - 8 attend Colleton County Middle School.

  • All students in grades 9 - 12 attend Colleton County High School.

STEP 2 - GATHER DOCUMENTS YOU WILL NEED

  • Parent/Guardian Photo ID with current address

  • Certificate of Immunization

  • Student Birth Certificate (Long Form)

  • Two (2) Proof of Residency documents (e.g. utility bill, lease agreement

    • Signed and dated current lease/rental agreement,

    • mortgage statement,

    • home purchase agreement,

    • property tax bill for permanent residence,

    • Utility bill - electric, gas, water, cable or internet

    • Vehicle registration card,

    • Voter registration card,

    • Current Pay stub (must show employer’s name, name and address of the parent/legal guardian)

  • Recent report card (Grade K-8) OR unofficial transcript (Grades 9-12) if available

  • Withdrawal form from previous school if available

  • Any relevant custody or legal documentation (if applicable)

STEP 3 - COMPLETE THE REGISTRATION FORM

STEP 4 - VISIT YOUR SCHOOL OR THE DISTRICT OFFICE

  • Bring your documents

  • Bring the completed registration form
