Employee Assistance Program

Colleton County School District believes the health and wellbeing of all our employees is of critical importance. In recognition of this, we are pleased to announce that comprehensive employee assistance program (EAP) services will be available for our employees, and their families, effective August 9, 2021. We have contracted with Espyr, an independent firm, to provide this service. Espyr has a solid reputation for providing exceptional services, and outstanding customer service and support.
The EAP offers many services to employees including:
  • 24/7 access to services
  • A large variety of on-line resources and programs
  • No-cost counseling and referral services
  • Work/Life services including no-cost consultations with attorneys, financial professionals, child and eldercare services specialists and others

The EAP staff and counselors include psychologists, clinical social workers, marriage and family
counselors, alcohol and drug counselors, attorneys, financial advisors and other professionals. EAP counselors are licensed mental health professionals. All have a master's degree or doctorate in their field of expertise, so you can be assured of receiving highly professional services.

The EAP program is free and confidential, with your right to privacy protected within the bounds of the law. The EAP will not disclose to us who uses the program, so we will not be aware you are using the services unless you choose to inform us.

We invite you to visit Colleton County School District’s EAP website at www.espyr.com.

The website is an easy to use resource available to help you and your family build resilience and get answers to some of life’s toughest questions. The website also offers assessments, videos, quizzes, courses, articles, calculators, and much more. You may even confidentially request EAP services from the site.
Our goal for the EAP is to ensure you have the professional assistance necessary to help you handle personal matters before they impact your wellbeing. When you receive help with a personal problem, your private/home life improves, work goes better, and everyone benefits.
To take advantage of the EAP, contact ESPYR by calling (800) 869-0276 or you may securely request services from the website.
