Facilities Rental Application

As a service to the community, the Colleton County School District will allow responsible and properly organized community groups to use school facilities in keeping with school board policies.  Rental of school facilities are for one-time events. Colleton County School District does not permit long- or short-term rentals of any part of its facilities, other than for educational purposes as determined by the board.

Rental of School Facilities: 

1. Applicants must complete the rental application. 

2. Application is then reviewed and approved.

3. Schools will then be notified of the request for rental, this ensures that the building is available on the date of the event.

4. Once steps 1 through 3 are complete, the approved applicants are to obtain and provide proof of liability insurance and pay all fees associated with renting the facility.

5. Rental fees are as follows: Cost of the Building (TBD based on facility) Custodial Staff Member (TBD based on hours of usage) Sound Technician (when renting the PAC).

6. Proof of liability insurance must be turned in to the Department of Buildings & Grounds, fees are to be paid at the Centralized District Office. 

7. Centralized District Office personnel will send proof of payment to the Department of Buildings & Grounds.

8. Event will be scheduled, and contact will be made with the renter to confirm that all documents have been received and the event is scheduled.
