We recognize the need for 21st Century technical education in our community in order to assist Colleton County in competing within a global economy and ensuring a quality of life unique to Walterboro and our surrounding townships.  Forty-nine percent of the students at Colleton County High School participate in at least one course here at TCTC.  We also have participation from home school students and encourage private school students living in Colleton County to consider enrollment in courses here as well.

As a member of Team Colleton, it is our role as a Career Center to support both career education and core academic education.  Our staff members participate in curricular integration projects with teachers at Colleton County High School. It is our belief that all students need an education that provides rigor, relevance and opportunity for each student as they grow into adulthood.  Productive, life-long learners are our focused mission.
