| Second Grade is an extremely important year for students. They are expected to read independently and understand their text. Second Graders are expected to master more complex math strategies such as regrouping and borrowing, place value to the thousands, telling time by the fives, and multiplying. They are expected to learn and apply ways to become good citizens and how to care for their environment.
