Welcome to First Grade!
First
Grade is a very important year. Students begin to read on their own.
They also learn many basic math concepts that will be built upon for
the rest of their education. These include counting money, telling time, adding, subtracting, and analyzing numerical patterns. They are also expected to become more independent learners.
More responsibility for their learning is placed on the children. | |
